Major Crimes, the spinoff of “The Closer” stars Mary McDonnell as Captain Sharon Raydor, who steps into the shoes of leading the Major Crimes division of the LAPD. Tasked with solving LA’s high profile crimes, the excellent ensemble cast guides us through a striking cross-section of the city’s glamorous backdrops and seedy alleys with humor and compassion. The recurring character “Rusty” character brings a personal story and human side to the straight-laced Captain Raydor.
