Inspector Lewis is the sequel to Inspector Morse. The series finds scrappy DI Robbie Lewis (Kevin Whately) promoted and leading his own investigations in bucolic Oxford. Laurence Fox stars as the academic DS James Hathaway and mystery veteran Clare Holman as the show’s medical examiner Dr. Laura Hobson. My least favorite of the Morse trilogy, the show is a bit forced and the romance between Lewis and Hobson is painfully awkward to watch.
