Chasing Shadows

Following a recent formula of shows with an eccentric, potentially on-the-spectrum detective, Chasing Shadows stars Reece Shearsmith as Detective Sergeant Sean Stone and the lovely Alex Kingston as Ruth Hatterly, a criminal psychologist and DS Stone’s exasperated partner. They, along with Noel Clarke who plays DCI Karl Prior, are part of a missing persons unit who investigate serial killers that target the impressionable and vulnerable. The show is often bleak but tense, but definitely watchable. Death in Paradise’s Don Warrington stars as their Chief Superintendent.
