Above Suspicion stars Ciaran Hinds and Kelly Reilly as mentor and rookie protege in this taut and oftentimes gruesome British police mystery series. Written by Lynda La Plante, the four series are worth watching for the captivating storylines, the chemistry between Hinds and Reilly, and most notably for Amanda Lawrence’s underappreciated and overworked Joan Faulkland. Shaun Dingwell stars in a supporting role and can also be seen in DCI Banks.
